Meant to render as .jpg, but I forgot to change it. In heaven's name, what did I do wrong??!?!?!?! I think I'm gonna re-render this!

you know, in GIMP or Photoshop or some other image editing program, you can add a black layer behind this if you want, and save it as a jpg. Probably, if you just saved this as a jog instead of a png, the background would go black.

Yeah I just did the same thing with a fractal I just made. So I left up the .png with no background, then put up the jpg with the black background.

I just rendered another one a second ago and this one, I just also saved as a jpg and the backgroudn automatically went black

You must have uploaded the png transparency which is sort of neat because I can put it on any background I choose. It has a nice 3D effect on it. Excellent IMHO. Was this done with new settings? If you rendered at twice this size and reduced after you would lose some of the jagged outer lines. I like it Cadmonia, :)
